Georgia is a young pet photographer currently studying at the University of Gloucestershire. Her passion for photographing animals began at a young age, when volunteering at local animal sanctuaries, Georgia continues to work closely with these charities whilst developing her creative skills and techniques through individual projects, both in the studio and on location.

We asked Georgia to tell us about her most recent project.

‘Wouldn’t It Be My Luck’ documents the greyhound racing which takes place at Monmore Green, Wolverhampton. Opening in 1928, Monmore Green is situated in the South-East of Wolverhampton and is one of the oldest greyhound racing tracks in the UK and is one of only 22 official greyhound racing stadiums (according to the Greyhound Board of Great Britain). I decided to document this historic track, photographing the dogs and people who go there trying to capture the excitement, adrenaline and sometimes disappointment of going to ‘the dogs.’
