“Keine Nachsaison im Kurort”, 2018 | Anna Hammer
Anna Hammer is a photographer and artist from Germany currently living and working in South Wales. She recently graduated with a BA (Hons) Degree in Documentary Photography from the University of South Wales.
Her practice engages with ideas rooted in psychogeography; taking the situationist concept of flânerie - the idea of walking for walking's sake, without hurry to get from one place to another - as a starting point for many of her projects. Her focus lies on the exploration of landscape and our place within it through methods of comparison and repetition. Anna's previous projects include video work and performance as well as photography.
We spoke to Anna about her submitted series.
